Swimming with Anna

I have put a video of Anna in her pink bikini swimming in her pool. I know it is a bit out of place during the winter, but I thought that I would post it anyhow. Kerry and Su-Su

This picture was from several years ago when we were in Kosovo and came back to Kingwood for Christmas.

I don't remember exactly which year it was, but it was the Christmas where we all sat in chairs singing a "slightly" out of tune 12-days of Christmas.

Books and More Books

Anna is really into books. Her new thing is reading them while sitting on the couch (like her parents) or in a basket, pan, or on her play table (not like her parents). Regardless, she is burning through them at a record pace.

Here are some of the Anna "titles" she likes at the moment.

* Sleeby-dee = Clifford
* Ding Dong = Ella Sarah Gets Dressed
* Shippenden = Skip to My Lou
* Mary = A book on the story of Christmas

Anna has also learned how to say "Anna Claire" and she can also say "8-9-10" in addition to "1-2-3."

She is also catching on to Christmas, and she gets all giggly when we say she is getting presents, and when we ask what are inside presents, she says: "toys." Let this be a warning to those giving socks for Christmas.

Balloon and a Shoe

Anna gets her regular balloon from a nearby hamburger restaurant. She is also into wearing our shoes now. 

Geneva, Switzerland

I always liked this picture. It was literally taken one hour before we found out that we were going to have baby Anna -- on the next day. I was just fooling around with the camera to experiment with the black-and-white settings and took it as a test photo. This was the last hour of no-baby life; it was 11 August 2004, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Two Elmos and a Baby

Here is Anna with her two Elmo friends. She always tells them to "sit down," so she can sit next to them, and one asks for medical attention such as taking a temp or listening to a heart beat. We just call it the "noisy" Elmo.

Coming Soon

I am trying out different ways of disseminating photos, giving access to video, and otherwise keeping people up to date with our lives. We will see how this blog thing works out.
